Day 1: 320 km Copenhagen/Malmö/Kalmar
After your arrival in Copenhagen continue from Denmark to Malmö via the “Öresund Bridge”. Here you can explore the trendy city of Malmö. The local guide will show you the ‘Turning Torso’, the church ‘St Petri Kyrka’ and the heart of the city ‘Lilla Torg’. You may also visit the Sofiero Palace and Gardens in Helsingborg, Sweden’s most beautiful palace and park combined with innovative garden design and eco-friendly solutions. Do you want to hear the fascinating story of IKEA? Then you must visit the IKEA museum in Älmhult! Continue on to the beautiful seaside town of Kalmar where you will stay for 2 nights.  Kalmar is a modern city offering a wide variety of experiences, but you can also feel the echoes of medieval times.

Day 2: Excursion to the island of Öland
Embark on the Öland bridge to visit the second largest island in Sweden. The local guide will show you ‘Långe Erik’, the highest lighthouse and the prairie-like ‘Stora Alvaret’. This giant limestone plateau has a unique biodiversity and pre-history and has been added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Solliden Palace, the Royal Family’s summer residence for generations. During the summer visit the amazing Palace Garden and experience the 3 themes of the gardens: Italian, English and Dutch inspired.

Day 3: 253 km Kalmar/Vimmerby/Linköping
Today, drive through the lovely Swedish nature to Vimmerby where you can visit Virum Moose Park. Take a safari ride inthe park and experience the moose up and close! Vimmerby is also the hometown of Astrid Lindgren, where you can visit the parents’ house of this famous children’s book author. Overnight in Linköping.

Day 4: 323 km Linköping/Mariefred/Stockholm
During the morning you have the chance to take a boat trip on The Göta Canal. Then, drive to Mariefred for a visit at the Gripsholm Castle, one of the 11 royal castles in Sweden situated on the shores of Lake Mälaren. Gripsholm Castle has the Swedish State's collection of portraits and it is filled with over 400 years of history. 2 nights in Stockholm.

Day 5: Stockholm
The local guide will tell all about the Swedish capital. See the Royal Palace, Gamla Stan, The Old Town (which is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe) and also City Hall, where every year the Nobel Prize banquet is held. In the afternoon, visit the Vasa Museum, where you will find the unique warship Vasa from 1628 that sank on her maiden voyage. If you are a nature lover, you can enjoy a boat trip through Stockholm’s stunning archipelago.

Day 6: 402 km Stockholm/Uppsala/Skara
Visit the oldest university city in Sweden, Uppsala. A local guide will tour the magnificent 13th- century cathedral and the old town. It is possible to visit the Treasury in the cathedral’s North Tower, home to Europe’s finest collections of medieval church fabrics. Overnight in Skara.

Day 7: 227 km Skara/Kållandsö/Gothenburg
Before continuing the trip to West Coast we make a visit at Läckö Castle, Sweden’s most beautiful mansion. Its 700 years of history uniquely preserved baroque salons and the wonderful surroundings make the mansion an experience not to be missed. Continue to Gothenburg from where you will make your return journey home.
