Day 1: Arrive in Stockholm
Arrive in Sweden’s beautiful capital, Stockholm. On a city tour your local guide will take you on a 2-hour tour through the Swedish capital. The “Venice of the North” will enchant you with its beautiful location on the water and the cozy old town. Overnight in central Stockholm.

Day 2: Stockholm – Narvik (1400 km)
Today you will be able to tour the famous Vasa Museum which tells the spectacular story of the Vasa ship which sank in 1628. In the evening, board the night train to Narvik.

Day 3: Narvik
Arrive in Narvik around noon. The city gained importance through the export of Swedish iron thanks to its ice-free port. Majestic mountains surround the city. Overnight in Narvik.

Day 4: Narvik-Svolvær (220 km)
Today you will be picked up by coach at the hotel and head towards the majestical Lofoten Archipelago. Overnight in Svolvær.

Day 5: Svolvær & Hurtigruten
Lofoten impresses with its beautiful landscape also in the winter. The imposing mountain walls with their icy peaks, the blue-black water and the cold show the harsh side of the Nordic winter, while the colourful houses of the idyllic fishing villages add a splash of color to the white landscape. In Henningsvær you can see the exhibition of the Lofotens Hus gallery. The museum includes the largest art collection of northern Norwegian paintings from their golden age at the end of the 19th / beginning of the 20th century, as well as works by Queen Sonja, who is very interested in art. In the evening embark on HURTIGRUTEN.

Day 6: Hurtigruten
Cruise along the picturesque Helgeland coast. Surrounded by peaceful silence you can enjoy the beauty of nature. On today's stage of the journey you cross the Arctic Circle. This is celebrated on deck with a spoonful of cod liver oil - a taste of Arctic tradition. With the mountain range "The Seven Sisters" and the mountain rock "Torghatten", scenic highlights await you. You can also enjoy the excellent food that the Hurtigruten kitchen prepares. Full board is included.

Day 7: Trondheim
In the morning you will arrive in Trondheim. Your bus will pick you up at Hurtigruten Quay and take you into town. Here you visit the Nidaros Cathedral. The Cathedral was the most important pilgrimage site in the north in the Middle Ages. Overnight in Trondheim.

Day 8: Trondheim – Oslo (495 km)
In the morning board the train and let the beautiful winter landscape pass by on your way to Oslo. In the afternoon there are a few hours left to explore the Norwegian capital. Overnight in central Oslo.

Day 9: Return Journey Home
Enjoy a stroll through the Norwegian capital before you travel to the airport by train or bus. Highlights could include the famous shopping street, Karl Johan, the Royal Palace, Vigeland Sculpture Park, The beautiful Opera House or Akerhus Fortress.
