Day 1 & 2: Oslo
Welcome to the capital of Norway, Oslo. Travel by train from Gardermoen to the center of Oslo and check in at your hotel, located just a short walk from the train station. Oslo is a relatively small and safe city with an efficient public transport network, making it easy to reach attractions such as the opera house, Akershus fortress, the famous museums, Vigelands parken and others.

Day 3: Flåm
In the morning, the train for Bergen will be waiting for you at the train station. You will embark on the Bergen Bahn, which is rated as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world by several newspapers, magazines and the Lonely Planet. From Myrdal, you will take the charming historic Flåmsbana to Flåm. Enjoy the spectacular scenery with views of snow-covered mountains and frozen lakes. You will spend two nights in the cozy village of Flåm.

Day 4: Flåm
On your day off you have the time to explore Flåm and its surroundings. A highlight is the fjord cruise by electric vessel from Flåm to Gudvangen on the Aurlandfjord and Nærøyfjord. Visit the Viking Village Njardagheimr in Gudvangen before taking the bus back to Flåm. Alternatively, you could go snowshoeing or take a shuttle bus to the famous Stegastein viewpoint to admire the fantastic scenery from a different angle.

Day 5: Bergen
Take Flåmsbana back to Myrdal and board the train to the charming Hanseatic city of Bergen, the capital of the fjords. Visit the famous Bryggen-dock with its characteristic colourful wooden houses and shops and try the catch of the day at the fish-market. We also recommend a tour with the funicular to the Fløien mountain. From the top of Fløien, the view of the city, the sea and surrounding mountains is breathtaking.

Day 7: Departure
Fly home from Bergen airport, easily reached by airport express coach or the light rail.
